How to activate a CritiquePlus Comparator license

Activation links a CritiquePlus license to one authorized site according to your plan. Keep the key confidential: never publish it in a screenshot, public ticket, or your site’s source code.

Requirements

• CritiquePlus Comparator installed and activated in WordPress
• An active license visible in your CritiquePlus account
• A WordPress administrator account
• Outbound HTTPS connections allowed by your hosting provider

1. Find your license key

1. Sign in to your account at app.critiqueplus.com.
2. Open Licenses, then select CritiquePlus Comparator.
3. Find the license associated with your order and copy its key.

A license key is confidential. Only send it to CritiquePlus support through your secure account when verification is required.

2. Activate the license in WordPress

1. Sign in to the WordPress administration area for the relevant site.
2. Open CritiquePlus Comparator, then the License page.
3. Paste the key into the license field without spaces before or after it.
4. Select Activate License and wait for confirmation.

Activate the license on the final domain. A staging environment may count as an activation depending on your plan terms.

3. Verify the license status

• WordPress shows the license as active.
• The displayed domain matches the site you are working on.
• The professional features included with your plan are available.
• The updates area does not display a license error.

What if activation fails?

Check the key, the license status in your CritiquePlus account, its validity date, and the number of permitted activations. Also confirm that the site can make outbound HTTPS connections.

If the license is already assigned to an old domain, manage that activation from your CritiquePlus account first. For a persistent error, open a ticket below and include the domain, exact message, and plugin version without attaching the complete key.
